Tritax Symmetry is speculatively developing its largest logistics facility to date at Symmetry Park in Kettering. Buckingham Group has been awarded the contract to build the 500,000 sq ft cross dock logistics facility with construction set to start this month and complete next April. It will be the second unit to be brought forward at Symmetry Park, Kettering following the completion in February of a 312,875 sq ft unit which was pre-let on a 15-year lease.

Yorkshire Water has gone out to tender for two major framework deals worth around £2.8bn. The two frameworks will look to deliver water and wastewater asset investment over the next 10 years, and deliver on the water company’s drive to make substantial reductions in sewage overflows into watercourses. Planned works will cover the AMP8 regulatory period running from April 2025 to March 2030, with options to extend to APM9.

Later living main contractor Kori Construction has reported a record-breaking month of contract wins after posting a strong set of annual results. Corby, Northamptonshire based Kori secured six new projects with a combined value of £75m in June.
