Major works complete, terminal unveiled at Western Sydney International Airport

Major construction across the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) is now complete, signalling a shift from construction to operations as the airport edges closer to opening in 2026. WSI CEO Simon Hickey said the project was on track to open for domestic, international and air cargo services in late 2026.
