Green light for Kier to start £73m Southport events centre

Planning has been approved for Southport’s new £73m Marine Lake Events Centre which will be built by Kier. Construction is now due to start this summer on the site of the former Southport Theatre which will be transformed into an events centre and accompanying water and light show in the neighbouring Marine Lake.
